The Atwell Wilson Motor Museum attends a number of car shows and events each year to publicise our Museum. We also welcome all clubs who would like to visit us at the Museum in Calne.

On Saturday 2nd May we will be welcoming members of the Panther Motorcycle Club to the Museum.

The Museum will be represented at the Footman James 30th Bristol Classic Car Show at the Royal Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend of May 2nd, 3rd and 4th. This show was due to be held in February but had to be postponed due to bad weather.

On Monday 25th May the Museum will be attending the Bradford on Avon Lions Club Classic Car Show.

The Museum will be represented at the Castle Coombe Steam Rally on Saturday May 30th and Sunday May 31st. New exhibits for 2009 include mini quad bikes, pets corner, Royal British Legion motorcycles, fire eating displays and more.

On Sunday 7th June we have a Great Car Boot Sale in the grounds of the Atwell-Wilson Motor Museum just half a mile from Calne Town Centre. Children's playground,
Museum open to visitors as usual; Tea room open for refreshments/ice creams from 9.00 a.m. Sellers£5/car; £7/van or Car with Trailer; Buyers 50p/car. Open 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. (Sellers from 7.00 a.m.).

On Sunday 14th June our guests will be members from the North West branch of the Morris Minor Owners Club.

We will be attending Heddington Steam Rally on the weekend of July 4th and 5th. This is a fun day out for all the family and is one of the biggest steam rallies in the area. Exhibits will include vintage traction engines in full steam, stationary engines, tractors, classic cars and a display of military and commercial vehicles.

Our ANNUAL CLASSIC VEHICLE SHOW 2009 will take place on Sunday 12th July 2009. This promises to be a fantastic day out at the Atwell-Wilson Motor Museum - The theme this year is "50 Years of the MINI". We'll have of the order of 350 classic vehicles on the showground and in the Museum. Fun for all the family - Miniature Land Rover Ride, Competitions, Prizes for ’Best in Show’ Car, Motorcyle, Tractor and Commercial Vehicle, Calne Silver Band, Tombola, Playground, Tea Room, BBQ, Beer Tent. Christmas Prize Draw Tickets, Trade Stands & Auto Jumbles.

Our guests at the Museum on Wednesday 15th July will be from the Wessex Model Club.

Our 20th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS and unveiling of the WALL OF FAME will take place on Saturday 3rd October 2009 at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome. Tickets, £3 each, are available in advance from the Museum or at the door. Price includes entrance to Museum, buffet and a glass of wine.
