It has always been a cornerstone of Museum policy that as many of our cars as possible should be roadworthy in order to bring their unique local heritage to as many people as possible. In line with this policy, we attend as many local Fairs and Rallies as possible, such as the local Heddington Steam Fair, normally held in the first weekend of July each year.

Re: The North Wiltshire Discovery Tour

I am writing to express the sincere thanks of both myself, and my friends from Brighton, to you and your team for organising such a splendid event. Tony and I, being chairman and deputy chairman respectively, of Brighton and Hove Motor Club are only to aware of the tremendous amount of work and organisation that is entailed in staging an event like the 'Discovery Tour". On behalf of the group of Austin enthusiasts who visited your museum, I am writing to say a warm thank you from us all. It was extremely kind of you to open your doors out of hours to allow us to browse around your remarkable collection of cars and motoring memorabilia all of which we found very interesting. We also enjoyed chatting with yourselves and your staff and I know that everyone gained a great deal from the evening. We may well take you up on your offer of meeting in your grounds at some time in the future - it is certainly something, which we will bear in mind when we next organise an event in your area.
